Communications & Evangelism
The Communications and Evangelism Ministry is involved in sharing the love of Christ within our church, local community and beyond.  Sharing the love of Christ is always a two-way proposition, we’ve discovered.  And we have  found that we receive as much as we give!  We work to improve communication about our church’s ministries and outreach programs through our sermon broadcast, website, social media, special events and small group programs.

Sermon Broadcast on LCM/TV

The team serves to bring the worship service and other events to the local community through the use of audio and visual media broadcasting on LMC/TV.
 Website Redesign

The church’s website is a vital tool of evangelism in the local community and beyond. Additionally, our website is being redesigned to be used as a communication tool for the members of MUMC as well as connectivity to Social Media. The Communication Team leads the development efforts, serving as site administrator writing content and providing help to others in developing content that promotes our church programs, ministries and activities.
Volunteer Opportunities
There are several ways you can serve within this ministry.
  •  Videographer Assistant: Help is needed to video tape the worship service on Sunday mornings and to help edit and create final cut for broadcast on LCM/TV. No extensive technical skill is required, just a creative spirit, an interest in the Internet and the desire to help others.
  • Reporter/Photographer: Join the Communication team as a reporter/writer/photographer, writing articles and shooting photos for our publications and website.
