Prayer Support
inside-prayersupportPrayer is a powerful, active response to the needs in people’s lives.  It is a means of surrounding others with love and hope during times of fear and despair.

The Prayer Support group is a small group of women who gather each Sunday night (for about ½ hour) to offer prayers in response to the needs of members, their families and friends, communities and the world. Feel the power of intercessory prayer as we lift up the concerns expressed in the prayer requests.

If you would like to be a part of our church’s ministries, consider participating in the Prayer Support Ministry.  It does not require a lot of time, just a willing heart to pray for the needs of others.

How does the Prayer Ministry work?
Requests can be concerns for family, friends or members of the congregation.  When received, the requests are communicated to the Pastors, Lay Leader, and the Prayer Chain Coordinator.  The coordinator contacts two people on the list who then contact other people, and the prayer requests filter to many people in a short period of time.
Do I have to attend meetings or be home full time?
No! Meetings are not required. The only request is a reliable phone number where you can be reached.
